We're Working On It - Radeon X1600

The review will probably appear in CMP at some point and I'll post a link, but I'm working on getting both AGP and PCIe versions of Diamond's Viper X1600 graphics card. Everyone keeps saying that there's no performance penalty for not $upgrading$ to PCIe with this GPU and I'm going to do my best to find out if that's true or not. How? My lovely ASRock motherboard has both AGP and PCIe slots. Same motherboard, same chipset, same processor and peripherals. The only variable will be the graphics card.

In any case, the deal is in the works and it will be at least a week ubntil I get the parts. (I don't test pre-production or beta as a rule.) I'll keep you informed.
