No Cookies, No Content
I just wanted to extend a special thanks to the beta of Internet Explorer 7, version 2. On shorter pieces, I like to write my posts directly in Blogger. It's easier that way to put in the images, and other formatting like links and italics as I go along. Anyway, with another "masterpiece" complete, I hit the publish button. Of course, this content seemed especially good to me (nothing like a cook that likes their own cooking...). Anyway, I end up with a screen that says "no cookies," and I frantically hit the back button on the browser. The content is in the digital abyss, lost forever.
I'll take this as a lesson. I guess I'm just better off writing in a word processor, and cutting and pasting the content into Blogger. I heard there was a plug in to publish from Word to Blogger. I'll have to look into that as well.
In the meantime, burnt once by IE7, shame on them. Burnt twice, shame on me. I'll be sticking with Maxthon or FireFox now.

PS: Consider this my "notification to Microsoft of the error."

Maxthon is simply a host application for the IE browser control.
But Maxthon is out of beta, IE7 isn't.
I'd try IE7, but it dosn't work on Linux.;-}
You're not missing much. FireFox is still a better browser.
I have been burned by Firefox with typed content disappearing when I hit the back button too so don't think it's a 100% solution!
You could also swipe your text and do a CTRL-C before continuing off of any text entry dialog. That works well for me.
At the same time, I have been, in the past, able to enter in a discount coupon in a checkout screen, click next, back up one page to correct an error and then click next with the discount being taken a second time!
Thinking it was my imagination, I did the same operation a second time only to see the discount being taken a THIRD time! Woo hoo!
I guess browsers are both a blessing and a curse!
