On Our One Year Anniversary...

Just about a year ago, we took TechNudge Live out of beta, and made it a full fledged website. While there is no shortage of technology sites out there, Bill and I conceived something a little different. We also shared a vision of expanding TechNudge beyond the latest news. Along the way we've had the help of others including "Oldster" and "Rapcomp" as well as others.

We've worked hard to bring you a variety of opinions and commentary. Some of my views are based on industry trends, and others are simply issues I'm facing with my computers or other technology, and sooner or later someone else is likely to face something similar. Beyond TechNudge Live is TechNudge Live Reviews where we've amassed a sizable database of hardware, software, and internet products. While some other sites are content to merely redescribe the features from the manufacturer's site, we always endeavor to push it to the max, until we find a shortcoming. In addition, we look at it from the standpoint of if we would part with our hard earned dollars, as we often have for many of the products in the database. More recent additions also include TechNudge Linux, Labs, and Press Releases. Our latest expansion is to the world of internet video, with Bill's weekly video blog on YouTube.

Where do we go from here? There will definitely be more of the same. I've been lining up products to review, and thinking of opinions to offer. Of course, there will always be front page news. I'm planning a serious system build for the summer, and I'll be sharing the decision making process, as well as the nuts and bolts here as well. We're also working on an affiliate store to make it simpler to purchase parts and gear. The story of the nation's transition to high definition TV will also be followed as well, including my transition.

In the end, this is about you, the reader. Even with the inaccurate counter, we know that over 100,000 of you have visited TechNudge Live in the last year. That has been impressive, and we'll continue to bring you unique content not found anywhere else. Thanks to all for your support!
