Jonas hi, oscar here. Yup vista is nice, i run vista ultimate on my pcs but i noticed with alot of people because this is a ne OS, alot of people are complaining that some of their printer will not work because the company will not make drivers for them such as lexmark which leaves people to purchase new printers. One more thing about vista is that so far with all the computer suppost i have been doing, the antivirus2009 (spyware trojan) has affected xp 90% more than vista. interesting i got one case with vista but easily taken care of. xp takes some work. well talk ta ya later.
The same thing happened to the printers when folks upgraded to XP. The companies don't want to spend money on writing new drivers for older products. After all, if it forces folks to buy new printers, why would they encourage them to keep the old ones? I actually checked that my printer and scanner were Vista compatible when I purchased them to avoid this, although I didn't have Vista at the time.

I still think Vista is better than XP IF - I said IF - you dont use OLD hardware. ;) Of course they want you to buy new stuff.

I use spybot for spyware. it sucks cause it wont run autmatically, but it is a great free program! Maybe it will take care of your problem? www.spybot.com
